Susan Ford UXD
Hi There!

My name is Susan Ford

I am a graduate of Kent State University with a Master of Science in User Experience Design. I am passionate about creating products that are easy to use, user friendly, and make people's lives simple.

I currently work at The Boeing Company in Everett, WA, where I work as a Group Coordinator, and also have experience testing flight controls, landing gear, and avionics systems on the 777X and 777 aircraft as an Aircraft Test Technician. I have a strong interest in the design of aircraft flight decks and how they can be made more human-centered in their design and easier to use for pilots and those who work on the aircraft. I also really enjoy working on the design of digital interfaces and how they can be made more user-friendly for those who use them.

In my spare time, I enjoy the company of my dogs, birds, and goats; play the cello; practice falconry; kayak in the Puget Sound area; and recently, I learned how to shear sheep.

I believe the education I received from Kent State University gave me many opportunities to gain experience in user research, usability testing, information architecture, and interaction design. I enjoy working and collaborating in groups with other team members, and communicating with stakeholders about various design and research projects. I would love to talk with you more about your needs, my qualifications, and how I could best serve your company. Feel free to reach out and say "Hello" at hello@susanforduxd.com
